We enjoyed another beautiful Christmas holiday at Lake Tahoe. The snow base was good and we received additional snowfall on Monday and Tuesday. We skied both days as well as on Thursday, Christmas eve. On Saturday the 23rd we normally would have been on our way home but Lily’s family came to South Lake so we spent two extra days there where the kids went sledding in the village. Sunday night we decided to drive to Las Vegas on Monday morning and join Lily’s family there as they were going there for New Years.
October is a pretty busy month for us. Hunters birthday is on the 15th and of course there’s Halloween and fall festivals and pumpkin patches.
In November of 2008, Maya had a gymnastics demonstration to show us how well she is progressing. She is in level 3 pre-team meaning that she doesn’t compete yet. This fall she will move up to level 4 and, while she will not compete, she will travel with the team to competitions.
Lily had her xxth birthday. A pretty low-key event.
